A film that every girl can relate to…
The film is a perfect mix between the the original film that was released in 2004 and the iconic stage musical. It's perfectly integrated with contemporary musical adaptations, cinematography and choreography.
You can tell motivation was added behind actions not seen in any version before. It was a brilliantly chosen cast and clever use of social media that enlightened this film.
With a dominating and relatable Regina that embodied the true persona of the mean girl with an incredible performance and vocals that are unbelievably impressive. She's the person you want to hate but can't help watching her and then loving her.
It was great to see A Cady that is real and relatable with perfect character development.
Now Janis... this girl was something else and unexpected. She is real, true and provides the turning point that was needed in this film. Also, the girl can sing!
As for Damian... we could all be lucky to ever have a friend like him. His comedy timing and soul is the perfect recipe for this flick! He shined throughout the entire film.
This film embodied it's own story! I could honestly say I found it more entertaining than the original.
