REVIEW: The Ministry on Ungentlemanly Warfare ★★★★

Way to make history look fun and adventurous.

Not being a huge history buff, it was quite intriguing how this film kept my attention throughout the entire duration of the film with its wit and charm with all the talented actors.

The film is definitely a must-see with the great story & how courageous all of these people were. It’s great to have seen Winston Churchill’s papers finally released in 2016, it’s no surprise they they would be brought to the Big Screen. Like me, it was a great way to educate everyone on this incredibly important mission that changed the course of the war and ultimately history. The film was very well cast, everyone played a phenomenal role.

Based upon recently declassified files of the British War Department and inspired by true events, THE MINISTRY OF UNGENTLEMANLY WARFARE is an action-comedy that tells the story of the first-ever special forces organization formed during WWII by UK Prime Minister Winston Churchill and a small group of military officials including author Ian Fleming. The top-secret combat unit, composed of a motley crew of rogues and mavericks, goes on a daring mission against the Nazis using entirely unconventional and utterly “ungentlemanly” fighting techniques. Ultimately their audacious approach changed the course of the war and laid the foundation for the British SAS and modern Black Ops warfare.
